Regulated Online Poker New York. Republican Senator John Bonacic recently introduced an online poker bill for New York. His proposal would only allow and regulate online poker. Although he doesn't expect the bill to pass this year, he wants lawmakers to start discussing the issue. He feels that regulated online poker is the only way to protect consumers, considering all the New York citizens gambling for millions of dollars on unregulated overseas gaming sites.
